For CSFP Clinic Dates for 2008, please click here: The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides nutritious supplemental food to pregnant women, post-partum women and children under the age of six years. CSFP is also available to seniors 60 years of age and older. CSFP does not provide all the food a person needs. It provides supplemental food with good sources of nutrients which may be lacking in the diets of the participants. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE: Infants Children, Women, Seniors
All commodity foods are supplied by the USDA. They do not need to be refrigerated until they have been opened, except for the cheese, which must be refrigerated. Help is available for learning how to prepare some of the foods. To qualify, participants must set up an appointment and bring the following items with them: Drivers license, proof of income, proof of address, and for a child, a birth certificate. Customers cannot participate in CSFP and the WIC program at the same time for the same child. Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska's CSFP Program serves the following counties: Adams, Arthur, Buffalo, Chase, Clay, Dawson, Dundy, Franklin, Frontier, Furnas, Gosper, Grant, Harlan, Hayes, Hitchcock, Hooker, Kearney, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Nuckolls, Perkins, Phelps, Red Willow, Thomas, and Webster.
